| What the AL-INVEST Programmeme is? |
The aim of the AL-Invest programme is to intensify business contacts and to support new forms of
co-operation between Europe and Latin American companies. It works through a network of operators
in Europe and Latin America (consultants, chambers of commerce, financial institutions, regional
development agencies) taking part in the programme Al-Invest of the European Commission to encourage
business promotion among European and Latin American entrepreneurs.
Since 1993, the European Commission has been promoting and supporting co-operation between small
and medium sized companies from various industrial sectors across Europe and Latin America through
the AL-Invest programme.
The aims of the AL-Invest programme is to contribute to the internationalization of companies from
the two regions, and accordingly, to foster the investment of the European small and medium-sized
enterprises in the technological and management development of the Latin American companies.
